Since 2018, I have been delivering FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Foods course, sharing my knowledge and expertise with industry professionals. With a strong and comprehensive background in food safety and quality control, I am dedicated to advancing best practices in the food industry. As the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Food Catering Industry, I oversee food safety, quality compliance, and regulatory affairs across North America. This role allows me to combine my expertise with my drive to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of customers.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led numerous projects that highlight my ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. From spearheading traceability compliance projects to driving digital transformation initiatives and developing FSMA Food Safety Plans, I have consistently delivered results that exceed industry expectations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am particularly proud of my work in developing comprehensive pandemic manuals, co-authoring industry guidelines, and implementing robust food safety plans for new business ventures. These achievements reflect my commitment to adaptability, innovation, and leadership in challenging circumstances.

My academic background complements my professional experience. I hold an MBA in International Business from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Washington State University. Additionally, I have earned certifications as FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor, SQF Practitioner and Six Sigma Black Belt, which have further honed my skills and deepened my expertise.

Beyond my professional achievements, I am passionate about building relationships within the industry, fostering collaboration with customers and regulatory agencies, and driving continuous improvement. My goal is to contribute to a safer, more efficient food industry by sharing my knowledge and championing best practices.
